Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra/NJP – Transfer to Darjeeling (70 km / 3 hrs)
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and proceed towards Darjeeling, the “Queen of the Hills.” Enjoy the scenic drive through tea gardens and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore Mall Road and enjoy local delicacies. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Wake up early for a sunrise visit to Tiger Hill to witness the breathtaking view of Mount Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, explore Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, and Tenzing Rock. Later, visit a tea estate to experience Darjeeling’s famous tea culture. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok (100 km / 4 hrs) – Half-day Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out and drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, visit Tashi Viewpoint for a panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga range. Explore Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, and Enchey Monastery. Spend the evening at MG Marg, the vibrant shopping and dining hub. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 4: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion (40 km one way)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tsomgo Lake, a stunning glacial lake at 12,313 feet, surrounded by snow-clad mountains. Enjoy a yak ride or take in the breathtaking views. Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to an Indian soldier. Return to Gangtok by evening and relax. Overnight stay in Gangtok. Day 5: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Explore Gangtok’s famous monasteries and cultural landmarks, including Rumtek Monastery, one of Sikkim’s largest monasteries. Visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, and Flower Exhibition Centre. In the afternoon, visit Ban Jhakri Waterfalls and relax at Tashi Viewpoint. Spend your evening at leisure or shopping on MG Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.Day 6: Gangtok – Bagdogra/NJP (120 km / 4 hrs) – Departure
